Custom Horse Barns
Imagination is the Limit!
No horse farm is complete without an elegant barn. A great barn, though, is not only elegant, but also practical.
Our custom-built modular horse barns strike that balance by incorporating iconic, eye-catching designs with the functional features that matter on a working farm or ranch. By using a creative, modular construction method, we’re able to build full-size custom horse barns for much less than the cost of traditional on-site construction.
1. Design A Building
Choose a base design for your custom horse barn. Adjust the layout and features to your exact needs. If you have questions during the design process, we’re here to help.
2. Get A Quote
We’ll take your design, run the numbers, and give you a price on what your building will cost. We’ll help you find the best payment plan for your needs and make sure we have an arrangement that works for you.
3. Receive Your Barn
Once you give the go ahead, we’ll take care of arranging everything for construction and delivery of your custom horse barn. You’ll just need to focus on getting ready to enjoy it!
Which Custom Horse Barn Style Is Right for you?
Here are the standard horse barn styles we offer as starting points for your building:
The Trail Side Horse Barn
The LANCASTER HORSE BARN
THE MONITOR HORSE BARN
The High Country Horse Barn
Since every one of our full-size horse barns is custom built, you’re not limited by one style or design. Pick the basic layout that best fits your needs (we have 5 different styles), then customize it until it matches your property perfectly. Hay storage, tack rooms, stall layout, window placement, door styles – they’re all up to you! (We’re always available and happy to help you with the design, though.)
Custom Horse Barns
Amish-Built Custom Horse Barns
Our custom horse barns are painstakingly crafted by Amish tradesmen in Lancaster County, PA. Old-fashioned woodworking skills and attention to detail are important throughout the entire construction process. Once the design of your custom horse barn is finalized, we’ll have them build as much of it as possible in the workshop, to maximize efficiency. Upon delivery, the prefabricated sections of your barn will be assembled on-site, and all the finishing touches will be added. Building your custom horse barn this way is much more affordable than constructing a “stick-built” barn completely on-site, and results in an equal (or higher) quality finished product.
Free Horse Barn Delivery
At Premier Structures, we’ve chosen to offer free delivery on all our custom horse barns, up to 50 miles from our location in Dublin, VA. After the first 50 miles, it’s a simple per mile price. We build horse barns in Roanoke, Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Radford, Pulaski, Wytheville, Bristol, and Bluefield, VA, as well as across state lines to Tennessee, West Virginia, North Carolina, and beyond. In fact, our horse barns are available across the entire continental United States!
Make Your Custom Horse Barn Special
Once you’ve selected a style and layout for your barn, you’ll also be able to customize its exterior look. Whether you want to match the rest of the buildings on your property or create an eye-catching accent, you’ll be able to tailor the look of your barn to do just that. All of our custom horse barns are created with wood, since we believe it to be the most natural, durable, and safe material for daily contact with horses. Our standard selection of exterior finishes includes 9 shingle colors, 9 metal roofing colors, 4 stain colors, and virtually endless paint options. It doesn’t stop with looks, though. The practical aspects of your custom horse barn can all be adjusted as well: doors, vents, chew guards, lighting, electrical configurations, window grills, and much more.
